Čedomil Plavšić (1902-1987) was the President of the Traveleri (Travellers) group, where he distinguished himself by making collages and writing texts such as the synopsis of Traveler's first performance "And They Will Come" (1922). He earned his degree in medicine and was a lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine in Zagreb. He founded Thalassotherapy, the Institute for Rehabilitation of Cardiac Patients in Opatija, where he practised his famous method of cardiac rehabilitation, the first of its kind in the region. Plavšić was known as a man of a restless spirit. He loved the action, and his students remembered him as a brilliant lecturer.
