The highlight event of the 2008 season is the solo multimedia exhibition of ALEKSANDAR SRNEC (b. 1924), an author who marked, in his special way, the art of the 20th century in the Crotian, but also international context, which can be seen in the numerous awards and recognitions, including the 1999 "Vladimir Nazor" life achievement award in the fiel of visual and applied arts.
The leading role Aleksandar Srnec played in the context of our contemporary art production and artistic oeuvre is explained by the art historian Ješa Denegri, and Srnec himself came to the exhibition opening.
The exhibition was realised in collaboration with the Marinko Sudac Collection, and it feature the central series of reliefs from 1960/1961, as well as graphic design, film art, and the typical experimentations with light using luminoplastics and film tapes.
