Rođen je 1949. godine u Massachusettsu. Diplomirao je na Akademiji likovnih umjetnosti u Ljubljani. Pridružio se OHO-u 1968. godine, sudjelujući u izložbama, događanjima, fotografskim projektima i filmovima. Najprije je radio objekte, a zatim okruženja i instalacije. Značajne su među "ljetnim projektima" njegove instalacije ogledala u krajolik. Kasnije je izveo brojna procesualna djela, nakon kojih je uslijedilo nekoliko konceptualnih projekata koji se bave odnosima vremena i prostora. Njegova posljednja izložba održana je 1972. godine u Salonu Muzeja savremene umjetnosti (Salon Muzeja suvremene umjetnosti) u Beogradu, gdje je predstavio svoj diplomski rad. Od 1971. do 1972. živio je u Šempasu. Sada živi i radi u Portlandu, Washington, SAD.
