In its fourth edition, the Artist on Vacation 2015 project continues the tradition of short, exclusive exhibitions on which the Croatian audience can see great names of Croatian and international Neo-Avant-Garde scene.
Gorgona is the most known Neo-Avant-Garde group of this region, and its members were Julije Knifer, Josip Vaništa, Đuro Seder, Marijan Jevšovar, Ivan Kožarić, Miljenko Horvat, Dimitrije Bašičević Mangelos, Matko Meštrović i Radoslav Putar.
The Institute for the Research of Avant-Garde, with this one-day exhibition in the space of Villa Polesini in Poreč, will exhibit some known and familiar works of Gorgona members, but there will also be some new and unseen works and documentation.
